„Variety is the spice of life, and diversity is opportunity — which is why I’m endlessly curious about people and the ever-changing subjects they bring.“

I have worked as a conference interpreter since 2014, working with institutions and corporate clients in politics and international relations, science and technology (with a particular focus on medicine), and trade and finance. I also undertake a wide range of legal interpreting assignments, including depositions, arbitration hearings and court proceedings.

I completed my training in London, Leeds, Paris and Pretoria, with shorter stays in Juba (South Sudan). Alongside my interpreting work, I have taught on the MA in Conference Interpreting at the University of Heidelberg and Shanghai International Studies University, as well as across different programmes at the LSE (London) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen).

I hold a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and have published extensively on Chinese security thinking and China’s foreign policy, particularly in relation to the Global South — a background that underpins my work in complex, high-stakes multilingual settings.

I use Teeline shorthand, enabling highly accurate and well-structured consecutive interpreting. In addition to my working languages, I speak French, Hebrew, Arabic, Indonesian and Vietnamese, and I have working knowledge of Spanish.
